STOP THE BLEED ------BECOMING A NEW INSTRUCTOR -----TRAINING COURSE

Course Objectives:

• Review American College of Surgeon's STOP THE BLEED PROGRAM
• Provide didactic instructions on STOP THE BLEED - wound packing and tourniquet application
• Hand on practice on both skills
• Provide general guidance on how to sign up/access ACS STOP THE BLEED program online

At the end of the program, those individuals with CNA, EMT, LVN, RN, MD certificates/professional healthcare licenses (along with many others-https://cms.bleedingcontrol.org/applicant/create , will be able to serve as Instructors for the next 3 years.  Those without, will be associate instructors.

All participants who signed up for this course will be placed on SAC AACN's Instructor and Associate Instructor List -to be used for future SAC AACN Event Outreach for STOP THE BLEED training or community outreach programs.
