Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! 2025 promises to be an exciting year.  We have many events planned for you.

First off in January we have a fun nurses networking event.  This event  is free and includes apps, fun games and one drink ticket at Punch Bowl Social in Sacramento. Reserve your space for $20 which will be returned to you after showing up to the event. Space is limited so sign up early! 

February we have our very own Jeana Flakes presenting on her journey for decreasing delirium in the ICUs at MSJ. This is a virtual presentation, see upcoming events for details. Jeana will also be presenting at NTI this year. 

On March 9th the Kyle J Taylor foundation is looking for volunteers to help with screening children for heart disease. Details on the website. Also on March 19th  we have a special certification celebration in store- stay tuned!  

We are currently planning our April spring symposium for April 17th.  National president Jennifer Adamski will be presenting her keynote address. Other topics include heart failure, cardiac devices, congenital heart disease and much more. 

Of course May is nurses week and don't forget NTI! NTI is in New Orleans this year and we are honored to  have received not one but TWO circle of excellence awards for educational programming and excellence in collaboration. We would love to see you there, start making plans now!
